POSTPONED-DATE TBA - Turtle Island Series: Tackling Anti-Indigenous Racism in Health Care

Open to all Unifor members.

Anti-Indigenous racism has profound negative impacts on the health and wellness of Indigenous communities. Troubling disparities exist in health outcomes between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Canada.

Let’s talk about what we can do to play a role in pushing for organizational and systemic change to ensure that Indigenous people will feel safe in Canada’s health care system and that they are treated appropriately with fundamental respect for their human rights.

Gina Smoke, Unifor’s Indigenous Liaison, will moderate this powerful panel.

This workshop will be hosted online through Cisco WebEx, participants will be emailed information on how to join. You must RSVP.
