Them and Us Unionism - with guests from the UE

Open to all Unifor members.

UE was founded by workers who understood how the economic system we work under — capitalism — actually works, how it functions to allow bosses (them) to make money off of workers (us), and how bosses maintain their power by trying to divide workers. Profits come from the products and services that we produce with our labor. The less employers pay us, or the faster they make us work, the more profits they make.

This workshop will welcome allies from the UE - union activists from the United States who will outline the principles of class unionism that have been at the heart of their union for decades.

Join us to hear about the recent publication Them and Us Unionism and to engage in a conversation about cross-border worker solidarity.

This workshop will be hosted online through Cisco WebEx.  Participants will be emailed information on how to join. You must RSVP.
