Open to Unifor local union and workplace leadership

Do you represent members at a Federally regulated workplace? If so, this webinar is for you. On  August 31, 2021, the Pay Equity Act became law. As a union, we will be making the most of this proactive pay equity process by ensuring that work done predominately by women isn’t undervalued by employers.  The union has done a great job of ensuring classifications are paid the same no matter who does the work; now, we will have a tool to compare across classifications and remedy any gender bias.

Federal employers must post a notice by November 1, 2021 informing employees that the pay equity process has begun, so the time is now to learn what this means for you. Join this webinar lead by Unifor National representatives to learn what pay equity is, how the process works and your next steps.

Simultaneous interpretation (French and English) is available for this webinar on October 27th.
